Relief during dental work

I have been using the ‘tip mode’ (2) or ‘segment mode’ (3) whenever I opened my mouth for dental work. Absolutely no panic or stress! The whole period of lying the dentist’s chair passes easily. My dental surgeon who did my root canals and extractions under local anesthesia comments every time “I wish my other patients were like you!”

Let me know your own experience with this practice. It will be posted without your name.

  • The terrified boy: The mother of a 10 year old boy who attended my classes said happily “My son was terrified of getting any dental work done. I had to postpone his visits several times. After I learned ‘Counting Breaths’, I taught this method to him at home and made him practice for a few days. When he was sitting in the dentist’s chair, I sat beside him and said’ non-stop “breathe, breathe … ‘. For the first time, he had his dental visit without the usual panic”.
  • No more anti-anxiety medication: A woman who attended my classes and derived many benefits reported “Before practicing these techniques (1), she had severe anxiety whenever she had to undergo a treatment at her dentist’s office. She had to take an anti-anxiety medicine, to be able to go through the visit. But her recent visit to the dentist was all done without any such medication. She was herself surprised how this happened for the first time! Her full report….
  • 9 year old girl practiced on her own: One 9 year old girl who learned this technique in a group, in 30 minutes, said that she practiced the ‘tip mode’ (2) at her dentist’s office, to calm herself, on her own initiative. More….
